The last two months have been all about getting woman.com.au off the ground. Naturally, many ask what it’s all about, where I want to take it and how.
Woman.com.au is an online community that gets women meeting, moving and making things happen. It features:
- A curated calendar of events covering business, social, sports & recreation, culture & community around Australia
- Stories of a new breed of kickass women making their own paths
- How-to lists and guides to great living
- Expert-led discussions on a range of topics from health, career, fashion and lifestyle to business and politics
- Information, resources and tools to inspire and connect

We also featured the female finalists for this year’s Australian of the Year Awards. Winners will be announced on 25 January.
We were inspired by the words of Sue Austin in her recent talk at TedxWomen. Her deep sea diving adventure in a wheelchair gave us all something to think about. It certainly made us think differently about people with disability. Head here to watch the video.
Every Friday, we take our readers to beautiful places via our Go See series. It’s like a bucket list of places to see before you die!
