    I like that concept of incentivising an unsubscribers to stay-very clever way to reengage users.

    Might put this into practise on a few sites of mine

    Not only do you have a chance of keeping your subscriber you can also learn about why they felt that they weren’t getting any value from your communications.

    Subscriber numbers really is the best metric for managing email comms in my view. CTR, open rates, and conversion are all important but if they can all be impacted by a wide variety of factors. The true measure of the value of your EDM’s is a growth in your subscribers.
