When I was 21, I wrote a list of “30 things to do before I die.”

Latin champion was on that list, among other things.

Then in early 2010, I quit a highly paid corporate job to pursue my passions: ballroom dancing, a lifestyle job and a few personal projects. By the end of that year I achieved my BIG, hairy, audacious goal – an Australian title at the Australian Dancesport Championships.

Big tick.

Dancing has dominated my life in the last 6 years and now I’m ready to move on. There have been so many happy memories made and friendships forged during those years. So it is with great sadness to announce that I will be hanging up my 3-inch heel, latin ballroom shoes at the end of this year.

It’s time to tick another item on my list of 30 things to do before I die.
